
Sean Levert, son of Eddie Levert and younger brother to R & B singer Gerald Levert, died Sunday night of natural causes according to a nursing supervisor at Lutheran Hospital.
The death of Sean Levert occurred at Cuyahoga County Jail where he was detained for allegedly failing to pay $80,000 in child support. Levert had been taken to the jail’s infirmary when he complained of feeling sick.
According to a hospital spokesperson, Levert’s body was immediately taken to the coroner.
Sean Levert’s death comes only two years after the passing of his younger brother Gerald Levert. He was a member of the band “Levert” with his brother. He also appeared in several movies, including 1991’s New Jack City.
